The promotion
This is the Rare & Air Spring Growing Competition (“the Competition”), promoted by Rare & Air, a plant nursery based in Munster, KwaZulu-Natal, South Africa (rareandair.co.za), and run across our official Instagram and Facebook pages, including via paid advertising on those platforms.

Entry period
Entries open at 00:00 (SAST) on 1 September 2026 and close at 23:59 (SAST) on 16 September 2026. Entries submitted before or after this window will not be counted, regardless of when the comment appears to have been posted.

How to enter
Comment on the Spring Growing Competition post on our Instagram or Facebook page with a photo of something you are growing that makes you feel spring is on the way. One entry per person. Multiple comments from the same account count as a single entry.
No purchase necessary. You do not need to buy anything, follow us, like the post, or tag anyone to enter or to win.

Eligibility
Open to legal residents of South Africa aged 18 or over. Not open to employees of Rare & Air or members of their immediate family.
By entering, you confirm the photo is your own, has not been generated by AI, and has not been taken from someone else’s website or account. Entries that don’t meet this will not be counted.

Prizes
Two winners will be selected. One will receive a Wood Creative Combo. One will receive a September Airplant Combo, each as described on our website at the time of the draw.
Prizes are not exchangeable for cash and cannot be substituted, except at our discretion if a prize becomes unavailable, in which case we will offer one of comparable value. Prizes are shipped within South Africa only, to the winner’s door or nearest Pudo locker.

Winner selection & notification
Winners are chosen at random from all valid entries after the entry period closes. We will contact winners by replying to their entry and by direct message on the platform they entered through, within 7 days of the draw.
If a winner does not respond within 7 days of being contacted, we reserve the right to select an alternative winner at random from the remaining valid entries.

Your information
Rare & Air, not Meta Platforms, Inc., is collecting and responsible for any information you provide if you are contacted as a winner. We only use it to run the Competition and deliver your prize.

This Competition is run entirely by Rare & Air. It is in no way sponsored, endorsed, administered by, or associated with Facebook, Instagram, or Meta Platforms, Inc. Any questions or complaints should be directed to us, not to Meta.

General
These rules are governed by the laws of South Africa. We may amend them where necessary, for example to extend the entry period, and any change will be reflected on this page. Rare & Air’s decisions relating to the Competition are final.
