September Combo- Easy Blooms

Often, people are surprised that Tillandsias flower at all.  To celebrate the start of Spring we have put together a selection of plants that flower easily and reliably every year.

As they flower they also produce pups and this means they make clumps of plants in a few seasons.

Tillandsia ‘Sweet Isabel’, a caulescent clumping silvery plant that flowers off and on throughout the year.

Tillandsia stricta, clump of 2 plants, easy growing and usually produces blooms in spring and again in late summer.

Tillandsia tenuifolia x aeranthos, a cross between 2 hardy, easy to grow plants that produces pretty blooms with pink bracts and pale blue petals.

Tillandsia tenuifolia Blue Flower, 2 plant clump, always puts on a show in early spring with brightly coloured blooms, and this year bloomed in winter as well.

The combo includes the 4 plants as listed above, they may or may not be in bloom depending on availability.
