Leathery leaves are lepidote (covered with scales or scurf), like some cooler nights.  Rose pink compound inflorescence the violet flowers. Produces 1-3 offsets fairly easily.

Tillandsia seleriana is a fabulous looking plant. It has a large bulbous base with leaves which curve inwards, unlike most pseudobulbous species.  The leaves have a thick covering of scales. The rose pink compound inflorescence has violet flowers. After flowering it produces 1-3 offsets fairly easily.T

It has moderate light and temperature requirements and can can tolerate higher heat with additional watering.  Mount as it grows in naturem at an angle toprevent water retention.
